Steven Goldman was recruited by Joseph & Teeter, P.C. after settling a complicated divorce involving a multi-million dollar estate when he was working for a prominent adversarial firm on Long Island. Of being approached by James P. Joseph after the matter had concluded, Steven says, "It was an honor to hear that such a well-respected, honest attorney appreciated my work." Once he realized that his devotion to the clients and his commitment to the law mirrored the standards by which Joseph & Teeter, P.C. practiced, he knew he had found a new home. Despite his age, Steven has clearly distinguished himself as a knowledgeable and aggressive matrimonial attorney, earning the respect and admiration of attorneys twice his age. Steven has proven that he is willing and able to go toe-to-toe with some of the most highly regarded attorneys in Long Island no matter how high the stakes may be.
Steven's background as a business major at Binghamton University's School of Management helps set him apart from other matrimonial attorneys by his ability to identify financial assets and review even the most complicated business records. Steven is also extremely knowledgeable about police department, fire department and union pension plans and regularly attends seminars and training events to add to his expertise as a matrimonial attorney.
Away from the office, Steven is as exuberant about life as he is about his work. He spends his free time playing baseball, flag football and skydiving. He is also an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association and its matrimonial committee.
"I've been fortunate to receive this opportunity to join Joseph & Teeter, P.C. because not only does the firm embody the ethical standards and commitment to my clients that I've found to be so vital to this area of law, but it's a great office comprised of wonderful people that make for a terrific work environment."
